Intermittent Connection (T3 Timeouts)

Hi All,

Posting this with not much hope if I am honest. Currently on hold to speak to someone at VM (actually this is quite rare that the automated response hasn't told me to reboot and kicked me off)....

I have regular issues with the internet dropping out. Only for a few minutes at a time, but obviously with the amount of video calls we're all doing at the minute this is particularly annoying!

Issue has definitely been ongoing for a couple of months now, could have been longer and we just didn't notice.

I can't find any solution at all online, perhaps there isn't one....

Network logs from this morning below, along with a link to my BQM (only started today).

Any help at all appreciated.

Hi lanners21, thanks for getting in touch - sorry for the delay getting back to you.

 

I'm also sorry for any problems you've had with your connection too. Looking into this today I can see there was a visit from an engineer since your post - so hopefully things have improved for you now?

 

If not please keep us updated with more recent hub-data, if you can also set up a BQM as well that would be helpful - https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality

Hi Tom,

Yes engineer came out. Did the usual move up the cab, also found there was an issue with the cab itself. Supposedly this was to be resolved on the 3rd.... However still getting issues with the connection dropping. Link to BQM is below and latest logs from router pasted over the following few posts.

Thank you for posting your findings. 

 

I am sorry to hear you are still experiencing drops outs with the service. 

 

I have double checked from our side and your downstream / upstream power levels area to be working within spec.

These has been an update today to suggest there may be an issue in the area in relation to congestion which is most likely what the technician was referring to. 

 

Can you please give us an update on how the service has been since your last post to us?
