I recently joined Virgin Media. I have been assured many times that I did not have to pay any one off activation costs and still my bill is displaying £ 65 one off costs. Every time I call or chat with the assistance (I already did it several times) they promise that in 48/72h the charge will be waived and that never happens. Has this happened to anybody?
In the building I live all the flats have a Virgin router and are connected to Virgin Media. Since for some reasons the activation was not working they had to send an engineer, but no one told me I was going to get charged for that.
