In what time period can I negotiate a new deal?

From memory they won't negotiate unless that contract is ending within a month/4 weeks. Is that right?

What timeframes have people spoken with the leavers team and go a decent deal?

It usually works to the customer's advantage to leave any negotiating heading towards the last 30 days of a minimum term as the customer has most leverage, under threat of leaving, during that time frame.

If you go much before then, VM's incentive to offer the best deal is reduced.
