Impossible to connect my wifi

Good aftenoon,

i had an appointment saturday (08/08/2020) with a virgin media engineer, he just came and said that he can not connect my wifi because the company installed the cable outside my main door but I live on the second floor, so the cable cannot go from the ground floor to the second floor. It is already 2 months that I was waiting for installation, they also did some external work, what i have to do now? I think it's unprofessional to treat someone like that.

Did you mention you were on the second floor when you placed the order?

The installation engineer would not have been equipped for working at heights, and fixing the cable up the outside of the building will probably need permission from the building owner.

They didn't ask me which floor i was based but anyway they have written a permission from my landlord

This is going to be difficult because the Virgin engineers don't normally work at heights. Hopefully one of the VM forum people can pick this up and see what can be done.
