My internet seems a bit hit and miss again lately, can someone check the stats please and see if there is a fault somewhere. This is both wired and WIFI it seems but using my own router for wifi as the hub was shockingly bad for wifi signal

What router make/model are you using? have you connected it on a new Cat6a cable for better shielding from crosstalk and interference?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

As the hub has restarted these have gone back to zero but there was a couple of T3's in there last time i checked on 3 of the channels.

 

i am using this router with a cat5e cable from hub to router as this came with the hub and a cat6 from my router to desktop

Hey spoony36, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you are having some connection issues.

Please can you confirm what Hub you are using, is it modem mode or with a mesh system? 

Please can you try putting the original hub back in and seeing if this improves the connection or not?

Hi,

I'm using the hub 3 in modem mode as the WI-FI signal was appalling, this is connected to a AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router for Wi-Fi purposes. Was connected by cat5e cables but since original post i have brough some cat 7 cables and connected these. 

However the hub 3 stats page is very rarely available as when visiting this page 192.168.100.1 all i get is this screen until i reboot my router but then a few hours later this screen appears again so it's a vicious circle when trying to grab hub stats. However connection does seem a bit better the last few days

Have you got an attenuator on the back of your hub? It’s an oblong object with marking like 3dB, 6dB or 10dB.

there is nothing on the back of the hub apart from the cable running into it. However i do have this on my wall

Because the hub keeps dispalying the 404 error when trying tolog in and grab the stats i have to keep rebooting so stats are back to zero again 😞
