All the tests are fine takes an hour to download even a simple picture, seems to be not just me having this issue.
the broadband barely has any speed in it, been with virgin for years my phone only worked for 24 hours.
Took me 4 hours to get on here, do not be surprised if i do not read any replies if the net is off again for another 4 days.
Can not call them their phone line is dead but tests fine.
their internet is dead but thats fine too.
Today i am going to find another provider, just received a price increase thats in proportion to the amount of problems, if they think im going to pay 50 pound a month for undecent internet and no phone then its goodbye.
Price hike for investment in new services when they can not provide the services they got, i do not see why i got to pay for new services when my service is not provided.
As i just wrote this my partner just got a new provider, September 7th i will be saying goodbye to Virgin Media, just got to endure them for 2 more weeks.
Anything or any codes i need or just inform them.
I highly unrecommend them on every level and will do so to any person interested in my time, truly the highest priced, throttled down most dis connected and budgeted service.
Come on its been years, its quicker to go elsewhere then to get them to fix my phone line.
you need to give 30 days notice so you are stuck with it for another month - sounds like a nightmare with the problems you have but if you dont give that notice they will just keep billing you
hopefully you are out of contract or they will want early disconnection fees
dial 150 or 0345 454 1111 and follow the prompts to - 'thinking of leaving us' - then "technical issues" - dont worry about that they do much more - open 8am -10pm 7 days a week - should take you to a UK call centre

Thank you Tony - we are out of contract been with them since 2012 so after 6 years, thankfully that be the end of them, for some strange reason they use my property as a short cut to connect elsewhere, that can stop too.
Thank you i was doing that but after 2 hours of music thats all i got today from V.M try again tomorrow, with the price increase the lines must be jammed with angry people, with all the people getting poor service they must be jamming them up as well, i only want to leave, no email to them or anything, have to stop the direct debit maybe they talk to me then.
Been with them for years i had no contract to full fill done my 18 months, just trying to get through, get on with another provider, the price has doubled more or less, since i started, about 6 years ago, that is the biggest increase on any product i use, if they put it up small amounts at regular intervals they get it rising with out too much of a backlash, sooner or later its way over priced with making it hard for people to leave.
From a VM it is free. 0345 454 1111 from non-VM phone charged at local rate (or included free in your bundle). Use 150-1-1-4-5 to get through - usually to the UK call centre. Can take up to an hour sometimes - just put the phone on "speaker" on the chair arm and settle down with a cup of tea and biscuits and watch your favourite show on TV until it is picked up.
