I referred a friend for broadband and phone and didn’t get our £50 each
So last my month, I referred my friend to Virgin for broadband and phone as she had moved into a property on her on as her relationship had broken down. The day I helped her set it up, I was told to get my code to give to them and it would take about 30 mins. The customer service advisor said he would ring back in an hour to get that code off her. He never rang back That day, so she rang back the next day. She was told we would no longer get the £50 refer a friend deal as the code is only good for the day it’s requested. I was obviously upset as was my friend, so she asked why the customer service advisor didn’t advise us of this time limit. I made a complaint, but I was told my mate should have rang back when she didn’t receive a phone call. Is there any chance this can be sorted out?
