I need a longer powersupply cable for a Superhub 3.0

I have a Superhub 3.0.  The power supply cabling is too short with the result that the transformer between the Superhub and the mains plus 'dangles' .  I need at least 1m 20 or a 3 pin plug which incorporates the transformer.  Any suggestions please?  Thanks

There isn't a different power adapter.

But can't you just get a single plug extension cord (also knows as '1 gang' cord)? They're available from most retailers and are designed for the scenario you find yourself in.

The problem that I have is the length of the 12v cable - i.e.  router to transformer box -  the 240v supply cable between the 3-pin plug and the transformer is OK  - which I assume is where the 1 gang extension would go?

Well yes, but your current problem is that you don't have enough of either cable to put the transformer somewhere safe.

As you can't get a longer cable for the Hub cable because there is only one transformer and Hub cable length, then you need a longer cable for the mains.

Do new Superhub 3.0 come with the power supply incorporated in the 3 pin plug unit or does it have a separate transformer unit and a simple 3 pin plug?

There is only one power supply version for the Hub 3.

If I buy from a 3rd party what power output should the transformer provide to power the router?

Take a look on Amazon, you can get an extension cable for the low power side of the power supply. They are used a lot on CCTV cameras.
