Hello.

I just purchased the quick start broadband 

These are the only connections I have which do I plug the router in to

The wire shown goes to a box on the outside named Cabletel

the wire should screw onto the hub but i think thats not what you want - the box on the wall in the 1st pic is the input - white wire at the bottom is the input to the hub - it goes to a splitter at the moment - remove all that and connect the cable that came with the hub then connect the hub - if it works you are sorted if not you need a tech
