Hello,
My start-up kit arrived today. The machine works fine, but I don't seem to have a coaxial port in my house, so the internet isn't working sadly.
What I do have is a wall socket that looks like a coaxial port, but doesn't fit the Virgin cable, and then three wires that look like they were for an internet device?
Annoyingly, the internet is showing up on my phone as having a good signal, so is there anyway I can connect to it without the coaxial cord?

Twin cable on the left looks like Sky, the single cable on the right looks like it could be VM. Try tracing this cable and see if it goes to an external omnibox.

Thank you. Yes, I tried all three of the cables, but whilst they all fit into the device, they don't seem to get the internet working.

Second picture is a standard coax rooftop TV antenna outlet. If it was used for VM it would be an F type screw thread.

Thank you.
Is there anyway that I can adapt any of these to make them work with Virgin Media?

Cable attached to your skirting board is the VM one. If today is go live day connection might not be live yet sometimes engineer needs to pop out to local box.

Thank you - so if I screw this into the box, it should work?

Far better to look outside for the incoming cable coming out of the ground to VMs brown or grey omni-box, & follow the cables inside.
The other cables pictured will not connect to anything as they are for one way broadcast TV only. The twin cable will connect to a Sky dish, the single on your skirting board will go to a rooftop TV aerial for Freeview TV.
In many cases Sky installers will remove VM cabling as not only does it save them drilling additional holes, but also VM is a competing service & removing the cabling will make it harder for you to go back to them. Looking more closely at where the twin cable comes in you can see where something has been papered over. I would put money on that patch covering the area that was occupied by VMs Broadband & TV outlet.

Thank you so much! It's working!
I plugged in the singular cable and after contacting VM, it's now working.
