I have the above Virgin box, and the wire from the box. But this wire doesn't go into the wire for Hub 3. What do I do? Thanks!

I opened the box to have a wee look, and this is what I found.

I moved house and the new house was already set up for Virgin Media TV and broadband by the previous owner. I Hi! I ordered Virgin Media broadband only, and was dispatched a hub and advised no engineer visit was required as the property is already set up.

The Hub 3 has arrived but the broadband splitter cable doesn’t fit any of the Virgin Media wall plugs.

Unscrew the white cable with the black collar. Your QuickStart cable will push onto the grey wire coming out from the wall. It’s a tight fit so may need a bit of pressure to get it on.
That other cable is a TV aerial btw and will not work.

You can follow the cable from the socket and see if you can plug it into the hub.

I always remove obsolete cables..just looks messy 😁.

Unscrew the part marked red and throw that cable in the bin. Then your problems are sorted.
