Re: Hv no VM wall socket

Have you tried the pre-install number - 0800 0521734?

Re: Hv no VM wall socket

Yes I did , but I couldn’t get through the line ,so strange .. I tried to ask on the live chat but there are only responses by the bots with auto answers…so hopeless as I hv no ways to call for a tech or engineer to solve the problem

Re: Hv no VM wall socket

You've connected an ethernet cable to a Openreach/BT NTE for use with *DSL, which won't work with VM.

As you've been given a quick-start kit the property had VM at some point. Go outside and look for a box on the side of your house, it's usually grey or brown with Virgin media (or Telewest or NTL) on it.

Follow the cables and locate where they enter the property, follow them inside to find the connector. If you can't find them they may be hidden or have been removed in which case you will need an engineer.

If you can't get through to the number above try again tomorrow at 9am.

Hi ytluie7,

Welcome and thank you for posting to us here on the Community 🙂

I am very sorry to hear you have been unable to complete your quickstart set up, we appreciate this must be frustrating.

I have taken a look from our side and can see you have a visit with one of our install technician scheduled. Please do let us know how this goes and if you require any further assistance.

Thank you,
