Hi, I’m unable to follow the set up instructions of my Virgin broadband Hub. The existing Virgin wall socket has a cable dangling out, labelled CON 3.9. This is not compatible with the wall socket end of the white cable provided with the router. The CON 3.9 cable has a spinning nut at the end. Has anyone encountered this issue, is an engineer visit required?
the input needs an isolator but you should have got that in the quickstart kit as the cable supplied
connect it up and activate the hub and hopefully it will work - if it does you can still book a tech to make a better job of it - if it does not work as quickstarts sometimes do not then you need a tech regardless
