Will putting the Hub5 in modem mode then using the Hub4 allow me to access my Cyberghost VPN as I'm getting absolutely fed up of it not allowing me to connct to it.

Some blogs suggest tweaking the firewall in hub settings (192.168.0.1) to disable ‘Block fragmented IP packets". Any firewall changes are done at your own risk of course.

That didn't work.

Vpns can be a pain. Last three ideas from me. If you can set your vpn to connect via openvpn try that. Consider using your own premium router with the hub in modem mode. Contact your vpn provider directly. In terms of using the second hub I'm not sure how you have two tbh as old kit should be returned. Others may be able to advise on your proposed two hub setup. Best of luck and let us know how you get on.

It's on test so still have Hub 4 but test team are like the proverbial chocolate fire guard.

It's been on and off since I installed it. But recently it's been fine until yesterday. Had a VPN for about 7 years now all through Virgin BB and not a problem till Hub 5. May try modem mode with Hub 4 then if it works get a premium router.

looks like you need your own router.

Well managed to download a free version of  a VPN, only one I could access to download tbh. Once it was up and running I was able to access the Cyberghost web page and re-downloaded the software. All working again
