Hub 5 Connection Issues

I was offered an upgrade to the Hub 5, once set up we found that 2 of our devices could not find this wireless network, all of my neighbour's networks are there to see but not ours.  We have checked our wireless adapters are updated and even had VM engineers in who also can't work out why this is the case.  We had no problem with the Hub 3, this only became an issue after the Hub 5 was installed.  To connect from these devices we have had to use a Wifi extender which affects the broadband speed.  Anyone else had this and found a fix to this problem?

The only fix is to get a Hub 3 or 4 back again.   The new Hub 5 uses the ax wifi  protocol which is not supported by some legacy kit.  That's why the extender is working, as I'm guessing it uses the older ac or n protocol.  It's the way technology moves on, and sometimes old devices become redundant.

The only other thing to try before asking for a Hub swap, is to try the below.  If this fails, not much else you can do.

Access your Hub by navigating to 192.168.0.1
Login with the default login info (on base of Hub) unless you've already updated it.
Go to Advanced Settings > Wireless > Wireless signal
In the Wireless frequency 2.4GHz select Wireless mode > 802.11b/g/n/ax mixed
Select Apply changes
