Hub 4 lag spikes and dropout

Hi there,

Recently upgraded to the Hub 4 and now I’m seeing connection drop outs. In addition, whilst gaming I am experiencing lag spikes every 15 - 20 seconds (over Ethernet)

I had a quick look at the logs and could see t3 timeout.

Couldn’t see any advice on the best way to share logs so feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Re: Hub 4 lag spikes and dropout

Can you set up a Broadband Quality Monitor (BQM) at thinkbroadband.com - this will give you an insight into what is happening with the signal at the other side of the Hub, it will take a few hours to get any kind of trend showing although you should post the link straight away.

Post a link to your BQM on here.

Instructions for posting BQM Link

Under your BQM graph are two links in red.

Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then click generate.

Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see.

On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)

In the URL box paste the link you copied and in the ‘text to display’ box write My BQM then click OK - you can post the link straight away.

Re: Hub 4 lag spikes and dropout

Realised it wasn't setup correctly so have started a new monitor here: Updated graph

I've also tried a new router as well which seems to have made a slight improvement. Still a little jittery though.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Hub 4 lag spikes and dropout

Noticing some packet loss during the night on this graph, does that shed any light on what's going on for anyone?

Any input on if this is a normal looking graph? It's got some large spikes throughout the day...
