Hub 4 delivered, confused!!

Hello!

Existing Virgin TV customer, had Talk Talk broadband & landline, which we have now replaced with Virgin for everything.

We’ve received the self install Hub 4.

Our existing router is upstairs on the landing, so I was planning on putting the new one there also. We have a TP-Link Deco boost system

However, in the start up guide, it says to plug it into the TV box?

Is that correct? 

And also, should we receive a new TV box & remote?

Thought I would try and ask here, rather than sit on the phone for an hour!

disconnect the old hub and fit the new hub4 - activate it if its not already done - 0800 953 9500 and it should wok - afaik some of the TV boxes need a lan connection to the hub so maybe thats what it means

I'm very sorry to hear that you have been confused with the set up of your new installation. 

 

How are things looking since your post? Have you been able to follow the advise given by @-tony-?

 

Did you upgrade your TV package at all with this new package?
