My hub 4 arrived but I’m not able to install for a couple of weeks, will it be ok to wait or does the old hub have a cut off when it won’t work? I’m not sure if I read something about it when I said I’d take a new hub.
Well virgin turned my hub off at 22:20 on the 19th, I can’t get home to install the new hub until after Christmas and no one will be able to stay “connected at Christmas” as virgin are touting, can virgin turn the hub back on?
Are you sure they turned your hub off and you didn't experience an outage?
I've heard them pre-activating some Quickstart hubs, but never replacement ones. It would be daft to activate a hub before it's been delivered and with the post these days that could take several weeks as it'll probably be lost first and then delivered to the wrong house...
