Hub 4 Check phone line fault

Hi,

I received the Hub 4 router yesterday set it up everything works except my phone line. By the way its been 24 hours. Keep getting a check phone line message. 

I noticed I should of got a new telephone adaptor included as per instructions which hasn't been sent! 

Tried calling customer services and gave up after 50mins yesterday! 

Not very impressed to say the least!!!

Do you have an old-style landline supplied VM (or BT?) and does that still work?
