I’ve fallen at the first hurdle. The power cable supplied with the hub doesn’t fit properly, both the cable connector and the socket have male parts, plugging it in has bent the male part on the power cable. While it does work, it really doesn’t fit well and feels like a fire hazard.
I tried calling but after 25 minutes I’ve given up.
I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
Did this ever get solved? I’ve finally got around to installing my new hub but have the same problem. The ‘upgrading to hub 3.0’ online video just plugs in but my cable is male (as is the socket on the hub)
