Hub 3.0 network port 1 not working

As subject line, how can i request a new router or engineer to come and check my hub? i have tried multiple cables in network port 1, and i get no light, no connection at all,also i can only seem to get 1Gbit on one connection no matter what port i use.

If your hub is in modem mode only one port will be active at any time, and in modem mode you need to connect your own router. If you don't have a router put the hub back into router mode in which all four ports will be active.

Do a pinhole reset for a good 30 seconds. If that doesn't fix the problem call VM.

I am sorry you are having issues with your service. I have checked our systems and can see you are affected by an SNR issue the estimated fix time is 17 OCT 2022 09:00, this can be affecting your speeds.

How long have you been having these issues for?

Im not sure how long the nbetwork port on the router hasnt worked for, i've tried using it recently, as i have need for all four of the ports on the router now, i dont see how S/N will affect the physical port from working though?

One thing that VM has not told you is that while there are any area problems they will not dispatch any technicians for other problems.

As @Tudor has advised, we would need for the outage to finish to look into this for you or get a replacement or tech out for you.

When this is over we can do this, just pop back 🙂

There are still issues with my connection, can an engineer be sent with a replacemnet router, the physical port still is not working.
