How to book an engineer? Relocation of VM box/inlet location

I am trying to book an engineer but I can't seem to find anything on the website to help me do this. I need to change the location of the VM cable coming into the property, as the wall it is currently coming in through is going to be demolish to make way for extension and so needs to be pulled in from a different wall from outside - How do i go about booking this?

Cheers

Hi REB2,

Thanks for your post and a big welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community.

We're sorry to hear you've had issues trying to book an engineer for a relocation.

I can see we've already replied to your other thread here: Building extension, need to move supply

Please make sure you are only posting once about your issue. If you need to update the thread then just reply to your original thread rather than creating a new one. We understand it's frustrating when something's not right however posting more than once about the same fault makes the boards look busier than what they actually are. It also means we could take longer to reply due to needing to sift through duplicate posts.

Have a look at my colleagues reply on the other thread and stick with that one so we keep all the information in one place.

Thanks,

Hi @REB2

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.

You should call  150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults

When calling Faults you will hear the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc

Ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.

Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.
