How long do I have to keep an upgrade offer for?

I see I have a loyalty discount of getting the next package up for only 50p extra month for 18 months, then it will cost an extra £16 a month.

Does anyone know if I can downgrade before the 18 months are up and go back to paying what I do now?

I can't find the live chat channel to ask them directly.

Thanks

You can, but I would imagine there would be an early termination charge to apply, as you are effectively terminating that contract and starting another.

You should check your contract. If it says the minimum term is 18 months then downgrading before this would be chargeable.

Isn't it easier to just pay the 50p extra per month?

Re: How long do I have to keep an upgrade offer for?

Thanks.

I'm happy to pay the extra 50p a month.

But I'd like to cancel it once it goes up to £16 a month.

I guess I should've asked if I can cancel it after 18 months and go back to my current plan without any penalty?

You can request cancellation 30 days before the end of the contract, and you'll be able to negotiate a new contract at that time, whatever is available at that time. There's no guarantee it'll be the same as what you are paying now.
