HUB 5 ethernet

Hi I have just upgraded to a new HUB 5. I have got all me devices, phones ,TV etc connected through WIFI. However I use a TP LINK AR600 connected through an ethernet cable to connect to my work lap top in a room at the top of the house using CAT 5 cables. It has now stopped working and the ethernet port and the rear of the hub 5 is not flashing as the previous one did when connected . Can anyone assist. Please note I am not very technical. Thank you in advance

Is hub in modem mode with your router in router mode?


Up to speed

check modem mode, try the same cable in a different port, and if no luck a different cable.
