Why would Virgin site a brand new grey box on the grass vrrge directly in front of my daughters house, surely common sense should prevail and they should place it by a hedge or somewhere unobtrusive. Only placed there today, unbelievable....

Is it causing an obstruction to access?
If it is you have a case. If not you would have an uphill struggle getting it moved. The local planners will have approved the location, which is on a service strip situated on their land. All the ducting in the street, usually including a road crossing will be built with its location in mind.

Hey @AndyRahaman,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post your issue on the forums.
I'm sorry that the box has been placed near your daughters home but as @nodrogd advised that this would have been approved by the local council and planners.
Are you able to post a picture of the box and its location?
Regards,
