Flashing red light

Hi all 

I'm a new virgjn media customer

The house i live in had virgin previously but been a few years I think. Anyway received the quick start box and out everything together. My main concern is that the box containing the wire from the outside has a splitter so I connected the red banded wire to the out part and switched it all on after a min or 2 the modem flashes red.

 

I checked all connections, phoned to enable my services etc but still nothing 

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Have you been able to call our customer services since you last posted?
