Fibre connection down since local outage

My area was affected on Monday by local outage listed on the Virgin service status page, apparently resolved by 5pm on the 26th. However my connection has been down since then and not returned.

I have tried restarting the router, factory reset, reseating cables etc. to no avail.

When I login to the router settings page I see internet access listed as 'access denied', not sure if this is relevant or just a symptom of no connection.

An engineer is booked for next week but a week without internet is difficult given the current home working situation.

I have been unable to get through to a call centre to speak to technical help, is this common after an outage? Is this something that can be fixed remotely?

Re: Fibre connection down since local outage

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then click ‘Check Router Status’.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow / straw box warning click the Post button again. Use one post for each tab if you wish.

Please do not use screen grabs.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.

Re: Fibre connection down since local outage

Try a reboot to see if the Hub can renegotiate a better connection using this exact method ...

Switch the Hub off using the small switch on the rear of the Hub next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the Hub back on.

Allow the Hub a few minutes to fully restart then try your connection again.

Upstream tab contained no data so I haven't included that.

Re: Fibre connection down since local outage

That's looks VERY odd and if you've tried all the usual methods of rebooting, power cycling, full reset, etc, then I'm all out of ideas I'm afraid. Sounds like one for an engineer!
