Favourite Channels

We've just been updated with a TV360 box and I can't work out how to access the Favourite Channels list. There's nothing in the flashy leaflet left with the box - it doesn't even mention it. How do I see what's on my favourite channels without having to scroll through all 999 of thm one by one?

Re: Favourite Channels

You have to create a profile or profiles.

Each profile can then set up their own set of favourite channels.

Go via the settings menu and all will become clear.

.... or just press the profile button on the side of the remote control.

Re: Favourite Channels

So - I've been into Settings, followed the instructions and scrolled through all the rubbish to find and select the approx 20 channels I'm interested in. I've got to the bottom of the list through all the porn channels and there's no 'OK' button on screen or anything like that. Coming out of it I still can't see where I go in the 'Home' screen to see the list of channels I've selected. I don't really need a profile; I'm 73, there's only me and the cat and he isn't interested. At this point I'd really like my old box back please - I could work that.

Re: Favourite Channels

You need to set up a profile to set favourites.

  1. Press the button in the side of the remote
  2. Select the profile (or the big + sign to add a new profile)
  3. Select the pen symbol under the profile name (or go through the new profile set up if you selected the +)
  4. Go to manage channels (or select Create List if you just created a profile)
  5. Select each channel you want by pressing OK (you should get a heart symbol next to the channel)
  6. Once you have at least 3 channels, pressing the back button (the bottom left symbol under the OK circle on the remote) will save them.
  7. Your favourites can be seen by pressing the profile button on the side of the remote and selecting your profile.

If you want your favourites to be there by default all the time then go to Settings (the cog at the end when you press the home key), then Profiles and Default Profile on Start Up and select your profile.

That way, when you use the box only your favourites will show in the channel list and guide.

Re: Favourite Channels

Thank you Paul. I would never have guessed the Back button is what you use to save channels. But I've got it set up now, thanks to you.
