Fault with new starter

Hello,

I am a new customer. I was told by the Virgin web site that my address had a socket already. I have phoned and tried various online guides here to get started, but nothing has worked.  I've tried calling, but only an auto reply stating no one is in the call centre comes up.

Please help.  I believe an engineer will be the next step, but don't know how/where to set that up.
