Re: Failed

Do a factory / pinhole reset on the Hub.

then

What speed do you get at >> Sam Knows Real Speed << using a direct connection using a Cat 5E/6 cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Re: Failed

Hi Ashtobleeft,

Really sorry you've having some issues with the services at the moment this isn't good.

I've had a look at the back end of things and it's all looking good from here, the hub has been up a while though if you'd be able to reboot that for me and I can take another look.

Could you also do a WiFi and wired test again after the reboot?

Thanks

Re: Failed

Re: Failed

Port configuration must be entered in ascending order on a Hub3 and I expect the Hub4 it’s the same. WiFi can suffer from numerous problems on the cheap hubs that ISPs provide. It has been reported on the board that the Hub4 has no better WiFi than the Hub3 and some users say it’s worse! /

Re: Failed

WiFi speeds are not guaranteed, but there are several ways of improving them. You'll find various suggestions around this site.

But the first thing is to establish whether there is a fault on the feed from Virgin, and the way to do that is a speedtest with a device wired to the Hub.
