FTTP Upgrade

Hi

Do u know when Virgin Media will be upgrading my area so I can get an FTTP service?

I'm currently using the older copper cable from the street cabinet too the flat right now and I know Virgin Media Is planning a network expansion? Is there any further updates on this work 🤔 👀

VM has announced that its network will be upgraded to full fibre by 2028.

So when they upgrade the network in my area will they install a new connection point for the FTTP upgrade?

Like BT Openreach I think they use an ONT for there full fibre upgrade?

The HFC and FTTP networks will run together, and you'll be moved to FTTP if required. If this happens there will be fibre to the premises that's terminated at an ONT.
