External work

I'm a new customer and virgin have text me saying they need to do some external work before installation.

I haven't got a virgin cable from the street to me property so I'm assuming this is the work they are referring to.

My question is:

If I install my own ducting from the edge of my boundary (where the box is in the pavement) to my house will they use it to install the cable?

Re: External work

Yes, if you tell them to use it on the day they'll happily use it, if it's easy to use. For example, add a draw cord so they can pull the cable through.

Re: External work

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know if there anyway I can email them in advance to let them know?

Re: External work

You can have a note put on your account, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't read it or forget about it.

Now if you put a 6 ft note at the beginning of your drive near the cable access, they MIGHT read it.
