I have signed up as a new customer and our wifi is supposed to be installed on the 2nd February. We were told that we need to have external work done to the house before this, but it has been pushed back for weeks now with nothing done.
It now says that work is due to be done on the 29th Jan, but I'm very concerned that if this does not take place, the installation next week will not be able to go ahead and we'll be left with no internet at all.
Is there any way of confirming this will actually go forward?? I have tried the chat and calling and no one seems to be able to help.
Hi there are so many posts like yours, I'm afraid that as sub contractors are used for this work and in some cases work permits have to be obtained from the local council, virgin themselves don't know and the various companies involved are notoriously bad at communicating, if you see someone turn up then that's a bonus.
