Hi. I moved in to my house 3 years ago and there has been cut wires inside the living room wall which are connected to a box outside our house. We had BT openreach connect us for fibre and the engineer said that the box was virgin and that he would not remove it.
It is unsightly and broken, the wires are exposed both outside and inside my house.
Is this something that Virgin will come and remove?

Hi Annettemcf,
A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We can certainly look at arranging removal of our cables form the outside of the property, unfortunately, removal of our cabling from inside if your property, we will not do as we are not insured to enter a private residence.
Please let us know if you still require the removal of your cabling and we will email the area field manager to get this arranged for you.
Kind regards Jodi.

Yes, please go ahead with getting the engineer sent out. Please see pic of the outside box.

Well that's a bit of an eye-opener Jodi, so what's the status of your employees and agents who routinely enter private residences to install broadband/TV or indeed to make repairs?
You know, just asking for a friend........
