Error code 7400

Replaced box and get error message on screen.

Hi Fiona1219, 

I'm afraid you will need to phone  0800 953 9500 to get your box activated.

You will need the serial number of the box, and also your account number and area number.

Good luck with that. I ve been trying for over 3 weeks now they just won't answer and this is the 4th time the box has lost all the channels

and the ones that are there have a message floating about. 4 times now the same problem. They clearly don't know what they are doing.

I gave up. No matter when I called I couldn't get thru. Am going to move from virgin I think.

I told them that each tie THEY phoned me. Once 5 mins of tamil on my answer phone. My contract it up in November and I am bombarded with calls from people wanting to make sure that I am "getting the most from my package" they advise me that the calls are recorded for training purposes. So I start: well that's excellent news. I will tell you what I have told all the other  8 calls I have had. My second virgin box has stopped working for the 4th time I have emailed several times I have phoned several times and waiting a total of 1h 40 m on the phone and nothing and no one wants to answer. I have given several appalling feed back messages about what I think. and still nothing. The website is next to useless and goes round in a complete circle when you try to contact them. I pay £90+ quid a month. I have been in my room for months as I am sick with cancer and no bugger answers the phone. They are a complete nightmare. I have saved the 5 mins of what i believe to be a conversation between phone operatives somewhere on the Indian subcontinent and I am going to get it translated .
