When we signed up for Virgin we were told that the self install was the way to go or we would be charged £35 for an engineer. Only once we had tried the self install if we had a problem then we could book an engineer for free to come and sort it out.
Thanks to sky we do have a problem. Our Virgin kit is all installed but the sky engineer cut one of the Virgin cables that come into the house when installing their own. This means that I have had to terminate the virgin cable myself as a temporary fix to get service from the line. How do I request an engineer to come and properly terminate the cable and to ensure that everything is as it should be when my equipment is showing no fault?
Thanks in advance.

Hey there @distracted, thanks for the post.
I'm so sorry to hear that the cable has been physically cut / damaged.
This will require us to amend / repair.
I will send a private message to further investigate - watch out for the purple envelope.
Kind regards.
