Dropping connection RCS Partial Service, Loss MDD Timeout

Internet has been working fine for a few years and in the past couple of weeks started having intermittent connection issues.  Looking at the log on the Superhub which has been running in modem mode for at least 18 months I am getting a lot of RCS Partial Service and Loss MDD Timeouts.

Hubs been rebooted and I've checked connections to the wall socket and back of Superhub, can anyone help?

Power and reported SNR look good, although those numbers are snapshot, so won't necessarily reflect an intermittent problem that (for example) caused the upstream channels to drop modulation.

You say the hub has been restarted, but the downstream error levels are high.  The network log confirms the problems you describe, and it looks as though the hub is losing communication with VM's network gear.  All of which suggests a very noisy line.  I'll flag this for the forum staff to pick up and respond.  Be aware that they need the hub in router mode in order to view the status and logs.  In the meanwhile, you may want to set up a Broadband Quality Monitor, as that can be useful to counter if there are any comments that "looks good from our side".   Won't show much until its run for 24 hours.

Welcome to our community and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with our internets services, we understand the frustration caused due to intermittent connection issues.

 

Remotely looking from our end with the details you have provided form your community profile, we cannot see any issues that may be causing these drop outs? All power levels are within specification and there are no area faults.

 

We can see that you do have the router in modem mode. Are you able to put this back on to router mode for us set up a BQM as our community member Andruser has advised?

 

This will give us a better idea of what is going on.
