Can you explain exactly what you are trying to do and why? VM do not use aerials for any connections. Have you received some new equipment that you cannot connect up - if so - what?

Re: Do I need an adapter to connect my broadband aerial to existing virgin box?

I am trying to connect up the new broadband router with the splitter cable to a virgin box which has been used by the previous occupier. The connection on the cable doesn’t fit the the fitting in the box. If that makes sense?

Re: Do I need an adapter to connect my broadband aerial to existing virgin box?

you are missing part of the inside of the box. you should have an isolator in their that connects between the 2 cables

Thanks, should the isolator be in the box supplied with my router or in the box which is already on my wall? Do virgin supply these and if not where would I get one? Ta

Re: Do I need an adapter to connect my broadband aerial to existing virgin box?

it should be in the box in the wall. as the cocnnection has been removed you'll need a manned install. contact vm and book an engineer or wait here for 2-5 days for a vm staff member to reply and they can book this
