Difference in Activation and Installation Fee

Hi there,

What the difference in Activation fee and Installation Fee. turned out I got free installation fee but deducted 30 pounds activation fee.

While my friend didn't had to pay anything. Is it another way to deduct fee if Virgin is giving installation free ?

Many thanks

Re: Difference in Activation and Installation Fee

There are different offers on different dates.

Installation fee is only applicable if an engineer needs to visit your address.

Activation fee is what is charged to activate your equipment ("Turn on" the service) - sometimes waived via special offers.

Not all special offers are present in VM's website. It's possible that you might be able to negotiate a better offer over the phone with sales.
