Delayed installation

Hi so virgin was ment to be i stalled on the 6th of May and now in October I have no idea what is going on. Used the online help who said I was good to go ahead for it and just needed to ring the sales team again due to some construction issue. Rang the sales team who said construction was still an issue still unsure what the construction is and no closer to a install date. 6 months and still waiting. Any info would be much appreciated.

Ps they also installed a brown box to the outside of the house.

Is there a black cable from the ground going it to it  or a coil of black cable on the ground ?

Black cable running from the ground

OK. With  the black cable not coiled against the wall points to a previous installation.

Check the inside wall adjacent to the brown external box for a socket or length of white cable.

Checked the internal wall no box or white cable. Virgin didn't mention anything about it previously being installed.

Open the virgin box on the outside. See if the wire goes anywhere.
