Damaged cable under road

Hi Guys

So we went offline last week, reported the fault, engineer arrived yesterday. The road was recently dug up, he said theyve cut through a virgin cable. He said it would be at least 2 more weeks before the council authorise temporary traffic lights etc and to call customer services to find out more...

So I called, was transferred to about 6 different teams who know nothing about the fault, I asked if they could send us a temporary dongle or SIM card WiFi, the answer was yes if I paid for it.

I have no idea what to do next, any advice welcome

 Thanks

I would advise getting extra data for your mobile phone so you can tether as it sounds like it will be quite a while for repair
