Contract Start Dates

I am wondering, does anyone know when my contract will start if i order now but do not schedule installation until June? Will my contract start on the date of order or will start when my equipment is installed? I am currently with another provider and my contract with them ends on 7th June, i am looking to join Virgin but do not want the engineer to come out until 6th June, so i don't want to be paying for 2 different contracts even though i will be unable to use the Virgin until 6th June?

Hi Gareth,

 

I am currently in a similar situation - I wish to sign up to Virgin today whilst there is a good limited time deal on offer, however I won't be moving into the new property until July. Am I correct in thinking the contract won't begin/I won't start being charged until I activate the quickstart package that will be delivered to the new address.
