Have you called the Activation line  0800 953 9500 ?

Spoke to virgin they have said they have activated my services

if you are sure its activated and it would be wise to ring the activation line again and get them to check and/or try again then you need a tech - it may be that the cable has been disconnected at the cabinet or somewhere else - so double check all the connections you can see - see if there is a second connection in the house and [again] try that - if hon of that helps ring and book a tech or post back and wait for VM who will do that
