Connecting via ethernet

I would like someone from Virgin media to pass on a message to the Virgin Media customer service team on my behalf,which I want them to pass on to the engineer who will carry out the installation of my Virgin broadband & TV.

Please can you tell them that I want the wifi turned off on my Virgin box when it is installed,and that I want my Virgin box connect to both my PC and my Smart TV via ethernet cables.

I have two CAT6 ethernet cables ready for that purpose.

I don't know how to do it myself,so I want the engineer to do it for me or to instruct me how to do it.

Hey Mike1429, thank you for reaching out and to answer your question you can tell the tech this when they turn up.

They will advise you on what they think is best, they would install the equipment for you and then show you how to do it.Cheers
