Connected to my neighbours box

Just moved into a new house that didn't previously have virgin media.

Therefore no direct line.

When engineer came, he said only way to set up is connect via Neighbours box that neighbour is not using for internet.

Connected to that box as a temp fix, but neighbour kicking up a fuss as he uses the non internet wires in the box for his TV connection.

Also becuase the wiring is going into my house next door, the box is exposed and open and in the winter months the wiring may freeze and cause issue.

I'm trying to get a number to call virgin to arrange when the direct line can be fitted but have i am struggling to get a number.

Any ideas??

Hi the number is 0345 454 1111 select instalation options. Regards Micky

I'm not sure what he's talking about. There's only one wire in the box, it's a coax wire and contains TV and broadband down a single cable. There are no "Non internet wires". 

But Virgin should have ordered your own cable but it may be some weeks before installation.
