Confirmation of installation

I signed up with virgin media and have chosen today as the set up date and engineer visit. I received an email for my order but no confirmation email for the visit. I can't phone virgin as I haven't got an account number yet. Is there anyway I can find out if the engineer is coming today? Not impressed already.
