The work might be construction work which might require permission from the council so they might not be able to activate your line yet whether or not you have the equipment. Even if the property had virgin services before sometimes the cables break meaning no service available.
All I want now is to have a confirmation of my account closed and my money refunded because I have payed 55£ extra.
How long is closing an account last?
I already talk to someone from virgin media about this few days ago.
And about that issue, I think that the right way of dealing with my instalation was to say from the beginning that is not possible for some reasons not to put me to wait one month saying that we will come for sure just rescheduled!
I just want my account closed and if someone else were lied like that would have made a really big complain.
I don't want nothing just to close the account and the money refunded.
