Coax cable doesn’t fit

I have recently tried to connect my hub, however the cable coming from the wall has an m type connection, whereas the Virgin media wall socket cable has an m coax connection. I got an f type to coax adapter, as seen in the 3rd picture. However the coax side does not fit into the virgin media cable. I was wondering if I should maybe get a different type of adapter, but I am not sure which one. Any help will be appreciated.

The third picture is a TV adapter which is no  good. You want a Female to Female F connector adapter available from B&Q and Amazon

To be honest you are probably fine attaching the HUB (Screw fit) to the wiring you have in place, without the cable that came with the package.

Yes!! That worked! Thank you so much!
