Cannot reset Hub 3.0

Hi all.

I've tried a couple of times to reset my router because the password underneath the router doesn't seem to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have already tried unplugging the ethernet cable and pressing reset for 60 seconds and no luck.

Thanks!

Re: Cannot reset Hub 3.0

You should be using the settings password (8 numerical digits)  if you want to access the hub settings

The wifi password is used for connecting devices.

Make sure you do NOT reboot the Hub after the 60 second pin hole reset.  Just let the Hub do it's thing as it will reboot itself when it needs to.

Re: Cannot reset Hub 3.0

Hi @MissMalice1985

Welcome to our Community Help Forum 🙂

Thank you for making your first post regarding the issues you are having resetting your Hub 3.

Please follow these exact steps and let me know how you get on:

Disconnect all unneeded ethernet cables from the rear of the Hub.
With the Hub Powered on use a paperclip or similar (I use a mobile phone SIM Slot tool) and do a pinhole reset.
Depress the pinhole switch for a timed 60 seconds then release.
DO NOT reboot the hub but allow it 5 to 10 minutes for it to boot itself up.

Best wishes,

Serena
