Can’t view a channel

I’ve set up the box. I can watch Netflix but have no access to any other channel. Message says to “contact customer care on 1908 to subscribe”. I rang them earlier while in work and they gave me an activation code but I wasn’t prompted for one during installation and don’t know where to add this insert this code. Can’t get through to customer service since I got home from work. Any suggestions?
